Swim Team Preparation for Summer Swimmers

That first week back on the summer swim team can be nothing short of exhausting. Many kids only swim in the summer and need time to recondition their bodies and their cardiovascular system to get used to swimming an hour every day. The Aquatics Team has a few options to help get kids prepped for summer swim team.

Spring Tune-Up
6 sessions, $100 at Olney and MLK Swim Centers
This class is run by the Montgomery Stroke & Turn Clinic for kids who want to work on their technique before heading back into summer competition. MSTC is designed for kids ages 5-18 years old who want to work on the four competitive strokes, improve starts and turns, and gain strength. This is not specifically a training program but will help summer swimmers regain proper stroke mechanics and refine their technique.
