April is Stress
Awareness Month – de-stress at White Oak Senior Center
It’s time to de-stress! Join us for a spa day and enjoy a
manicure and pedicure. Learn how to relieve stress during a lecture or learn
meditation and breathing techniques to help ease stress. We’ll even cover
laughter therapy to keep the frown away and the smile on your face. For details
on all of these activities, contact the White Oak Senior Center at 240-777-6944
between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm.
Pool/Billiard League
at Schweinhaut Senior Center
Every Tuesday and Thursday at 11:00 am seniors who love to
play billiards and pool come together in the Margaret Schweinhaut billiard room
for fun, a little competition, and a lot of camaraderie.
Classy Sassy Fashion
Show at Long Branch Thursday
Fashionistas unite! We will be strutting our stuff on the
runway April 18th during the annual Classy Sassy Fashion Show. Men
and women will be wearing styles in a variety of categories including casual,
sporty, dressy and ethnic. Join us as a model or to cheer on participants April
18 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Long Branch Senior Center.
