What’s Cooking In Our Kitchens


Advanced Kitchen Skills (Ages 15 and up)

February 9, 10:30 am – 2:30 pm, $65

Enhance your basic kitchen skills with this course. Learn additional knife skills including how to butterfly a chicken breast. Participants will make a meal of stuffed chicken breast, chipotle potato risotto, garlic broccoli and homemade fruit cobbler.  Take home a new kitchen confidence and recipes. A $15 food fee is due to the instructor at the first class.

Authentic Italian Cooking (Ages 15 and up)

February 23, 10:30 am – 2:30 pm, $65

Participants will create authentic Italian recipes the instructor picked up on a recent trip to Italy. On the menu for this class is caramelized onion and fennel bruschetta, classic antipasto salad, and a Bolognese ragu served with either tagliatelle or pappardelle noodles. Bring an appetite and be ready to eat a hearty lunch! A $15 food fee is due to the instructor at the first class.

Knife Skills (Ages 18 and up)

March 9, 10:30 am – 2:30 pm, $65

This hands-on class will cover safety and selection of the proper knife, how to care for your knives, as well as technique. Practice peeling, slicing, and chopping under the supervision of a real chef. The class will practice on fruits and vegetable and will also learn to de-bone a chicken. Bring your own knives for evaluation and have the option to purchase your own set of professional chef knives. A $15 food fee is due to the instructor at the first class.
