Get a Jump Start on Battling the Holiday Bulge with these Fitness Classes

Zumba with Step and Sweat (6 sessions, $35)
Sign up with your teen because this class is great for ages 16 and up (or 13-15 if accompanied by parent or guardian). Join the zumba party and find out how much fun a workout can be! This latin based cardio workout will have you burning up to 1000 calories an hour, while having fun. In zumba we dance, and move to the sounds of salsa, merengue, hip hop, and line dance music. Group Personal Training (4 sessions, $70)
Youth and adults ages 14 and up will benefit from this small group instruction designed to teach safe and effective exercises that work all major muscle groups using machines, free weights and dumbbells. BOSU Workout (12 sessions, 2x a week, $120)
For this course we use a BOSU balance trainer that offers additional resistance and a boost to any workout. We use familiar workout elements such as leg raises, lunges, abdominal crunches, push-ups and stretches done with a BOSU ball, which will help improve coordination and balance as well as strength training.

Kung Fu Basics – Shaolin (7 sessions, $52)
No uniforms, belts or tests with this martial arts class! This course will help you relieve stress and improve your strength, endurance, flexibility, and agility through an aerobic workout of traditional Shaolin Kung Fu stretches, stances, kicks, strikes and jumps. All levels of experience are welcome. Forms will be taught to those who progress through the basics. Wear comfortable long pants and martial arts shoes (or any sneakers for quick pivoting--for example, running shoes NOT recommended).

ACT the Workout (12 session pass, $72)
Get a great workout at a location and time that works best for you. This is a coed program that offers an excellent cardio, muscle toning and strengthening workout at 5 locations, with classes offered 7 days a week. Buy a pass and use it for any class, at any location.
