Adult Fitness Course Highlights

‘ACT The Workout’ Now Gives You the Flexibility of a Membership Pass

Never miss a class again when it comes to fitness. Now you can choose from a variety of locations and class times to ensure you get in that workout scheduled.

“ACT The Workout” is a strength, toning, and cardio class for adults ages 16 and up. The program is designed to allow for all levels of fitness including high or low impact. Heart rates monitored throughout the hour. Bring hand and/or ankle weights (optional) for a more challenging workout.

Your ACT membership allows you to enjoy workouts at ALL locations and times convenient to your schedule. Passes are available for 12, 18, 24, and 36 classes at any location within a three month period that starts the first ACT class you attend. Take your receipt to any class location below and check-in with front desk staff.

Wheaton Community Recreation Center   (Mon-Thurs) 6pm-7pm
Bauer Dr. Community Recreation Center   (Mon, Wed) 5pm-6pm
Praisner Community Recreation Center   (Mon, Wed) 7pm-8pm
Wheaton Community Recreation Center   (Sat) 9am-10am
Wheaton Community Recreation Center   (Sun) 9:30am-10:30am.

HYPE!


Choose the level where you want to be: Level 1, 2, 3 or HYPE! Whatever your fitness level, HYPE! will keep you motivated and allow you to challenge yourself when you are ready. This course is a high-energy mix of boxing, pilates, and body sculpting that will improve your strength, endurance, balance and flexibility. Participants must be ages 16 and up (13-15 if accompanied by a parent/guardian) and should bring a mat. Weighted gloves are optional. Body Sculpt
Feel better and stronger in this 45-minute class that focuses on strength, flexibility, and stretching techniques. This is a no-impact program. Your muscles will be stronger and your balance will improve. Add this class to your weekly cardio routine for a complete fitness program. Bring a mat and hand weights.
