May 15 – Walking Tour of the Ladew Topiary Gardens and Mansion (#348288)
See 22 acres of flower gardens, whose crowning glory
is the topiary: trees and shrubs trained and trimmed into ornamental shapes. An
exciting balance of topiary and natural plants, water, architecture and
sculpture provides an extraordinary horticultural experience. We’ll be guided
through the spectacular Ladew Mansion, exquisitely decorated with English
antiques, paintings and fox hunting memorabilia. Included is a sandwich lunch,
dessert, iced tea or soft drink. Fee is $55 and includes transportation, tour
and lunch. Bus leaves at 8:15 am and returns at 4:30 pm.
May 23 –
Walking tour of Annapolis and Boat Ride on the Harbor Queen (#348289)
You have never experienced Annapolis like this! Join us for a guided tour
with a costumed guide who will narrate and offer insight into how it was to
live in this historic area. We will visit the State Capitol, St. Johns College,
and various famous mansions. Then we’ll enjoy a cruise on the Harbor Queen.
Enjoy lunch on your own at the City Dock. Fee is $60 and includes
transportation and tour fee. Bus leaves at 8:15 am and returns at 4:30 pm.
May 30 –
Annual Sailing Trip on the Chesapeake Bay (#348290 & #348291)
This
trip is so popular we offer it twice in one day! The first trip (#348290)
leaves at 8:15 am for a 4-hour trip on a 76-foot sailboat manned by a
professional captain and crew. A picnic lunch on board is included. The second
trip (#348291) leaves at 12:30 pm, includes a 4-hour trip, picnic lunch and a
7:30 pm return. Fee is $76 for either trip.
