Blood Pressure Check at Mid-Countya facilitator from Adventist Health will come every second Tuesday of the month from 10:30 – 11:30 am

Blood Pressure Check at White Oaka nurse from Holy Cross Hospital will come the first Monday of the month from 10:00 – 10:45 am.

Cholesterol screenings at Damascus  - every Wednesday, April 17 from 9:30 -11:30 am. Must register in advance with Shady Grove 800-542-5096

HeartWell in Action at Margaret Schweinhaut  - This free community-based program sponsored by Suburban Hospital/Johns Hopkins Medicine focuses on cardiovascular health and is held every Wednesday [except the first Wednesday] from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm.

“Know Your Numbers” at Margaret Schweinhaut  - This educational life-health seminar is held the first Wednesday of the month and provides counseling on vital numbers including blood pressure, cholesterol, BMI and blood sugar.

Senior Sneaker Exercise Program

 For just $50 per year, seniors who register for the Senior Sneaker program can use any community center exercise or weight room until 3:00 pm, Monday – Friday.

Learn a new game and then teach it to your grand kids! Our senior centers offer a variety of games to keep you entertained and learning!  Call the center nearest you for details on these activities and more.
