The
Clara Barton Neighborhood Recreation Center hosted an Intergenerational Art Show
last month that showcased works of art from county residents. According to Center
Director Modestine Snead, “Artists aged
5 to 105 were invited to bring any kind of art to display at the center from
noon until 5:00 pm on April 11th.” The center displayed the
submissions that ranged from ceramics and charcoal drawings to wood bowls, and
more. The community was invited to stop in and browse the temporary exhibit and
the result is that many people asked the center to host this type of art show
again!
