All classes
work whether you are a beginner or a more advanced yoga practitioner, however,
there are a few classes that start with the basics.
If
you are brand new to yoga you might try these first:
Yoga Basics (8 sessions, $80)
Learn about
the yoga principles of body alignment and breathing awareness as you work on
basic standing poses that help stretch the legs, back and shoulders. This class
will help participants improve concentration, balance, circulation and relax on
a deeper level. Wear comfortable clothes including t-shirts, shorts, tights, or
leggings. Bring a sticky yoga mat, yoga blanket, blocks and straps as needed.

Yoga Fundamentals (9 sessions, $115)
This class
will benefit your body, mind and spirit! We will learn to calm restless
thoughts, encourage self-acceptance, and invite deep inner wisdom and clarity.
In addition, we will use breathing awareness to prepare for simple yoga poses
that will stretch and strengthen our muscles. Bring a yoga mat, blanket and be
prepared to work in bare feet.

Gentle Yoga (8 sessions, $80)
In this class
we will use the basic principals of body alignment and breath awareness or
yogic breathing techniques to enter into gentle poses that will stretch,
strengthen and relax us. We will work on listening to our bodies and
progressing into a pose at our own pace. Each class will end with a deep
relaxation exercise. Wear non-restrictive clothing. We will work in bare feet.
Bring a yoga mat and blanket to class.

and beginner students will benefit from guided postures and exercises that will

course we will learn about yoga postures and movements for core strength,
flexibility and balance, and use hand weights for upper body toning.
