Hip Hop for Kids (ages 6-8) and for
KidZ (ages 9-12)
Boys and
girls alike will enjoy learning the newest moves, dancing to the coolest music,
and they will blow off some steam in this hip hop dance class. Students will
focus on the fundamentals of hip hop dance, basic moves, and choreography. Then
they will incorporate floor progressions and more advanced routines as they
progress.

Bollywood Dancing for Kids Ages 6-10 (7 sessions, $95)
The term
Bollywood is a combination of Bombay (the large city in India now known as
Mumbai) and Hollywood (the center of the film industry in the US) and refers to
the film industry in India that creates lively and dramatic musicals. Bollywood
dancing is the style of dance used in the musical numbers in these films and is
reflective of classical Indian dance moves.

Tap, Ballet and Jazz for Beginner (6 sessions and 8 sessions)
This is the
perfect class for the child that just can’t decide which dance he/she
prefers…or for the kids that want to try them all! We will cover the basics of
three styles of dance and learn routines for each. Families are invited to join
us for the last class and a performance. Students must have comfortable
clothes, soft slippers for ballet and jazz, and hard soled, closed-toe shoes
for tap.

Comprehensive Classical Ballet (Ages 5-7 and Ages 7-10)
Beginner students are taught Classical ballet
movements along with creative expression through the Royal Academy of Dance
(RAD) method of training. More advanced
students are trained through graduated ballet exercises, floor barre and ballet
terminology. Ballet posture and turn out are highly emphasized in this class.
Uniform: Girls black short sleeve leotard, pink, footed tights and leather
ballet slippers. Boys black sweat pants (no pockets), white t-shirt and socks,
black jazz oxfords.
