Sign up for a
cooking class with your young kids or your teens to experience the joy of
creating healthy, comforting, or unique dishes together. Learn new skills, try
new recipes, experiment with different ingredients for a family bond that lasts
beyond our kitchen and into your own.
Knife Skills (1 session, $65)
Participants
ages 18 and up will learn the proper technique and safety measures for working
with knives. We’ll talk about knife selection, care and maintenance and
participants will have the opportunity to purchase new knives at a discount. We
will learn about peeling, paring, boning, slicing and chopping. A $15 food fee
is due to the instructor.

Kid’s Kitchen: Food, Fun and Fitness (1 session, $65)
Kids ages 10
– 15 will learn about how nutrition and physical activity are important
components to good health. This class is interactive and fun and kids will
receive hands-on instruction for living a healthy lifestyle. We will cover all
the food groups, various recipes, and fitness activities.

Family Chefs (4 sessions, $64)
Youth ages
4-15 will learn about cooking facts, simple ingredients, and will prepare a
delicious meal that even the pickiest of eaters can’t turn down. Kids will
handle the preparation, cooking, and cleanup so they can help in the kitchen at
home! There is no charge for parent participation, which is required. A $32
cooking fee (includes materials for parent and child) is due to the instructor.

Winter Comfort Foods (1 session, $65)
Participants
ages 15 and up will enjoy recipes that warm your insides on cold winter nights
like beef stew, homemade macaroni and cheese, and berry cobbler. We’ll discuss
ways to dress up these basic recipes such as adding lamb or pork, adding
special toppings to the mac and cheese, or adding a mixture of fruits to the
cobbler. Bring an appetite because we will prepare a full meal! A $15 food fee
is due to instructor.
