Montgomery County has summer camps that may be the perfect fit for children
who thrive in our therapeutic classes and environment. These camps are designed and staffed to help
kids develop friendships, improve self-esteem, and participate in safe, age-
and skill-appropriate activities. Below are some highlights from this summer
camp season. See which camp is right for your child and feel free to call our
Therapeutic Office at 240-777-6870.
Another option is for your child to have a companion to attend a camp
through inclusion. To
facilitate inclusion, interpreters, large print or Braille, auxiliary aids, and
services should be requested at the time of registration. To arrange services,
accommodations, or support, please send us an email to:
rec.mainstream@montgomerycountymd.gov or call the Recreation office at
240-777-6870 and ask to speak with a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist.
