Outdoor Summer Camps



Summer is the season to be active and we have a wide variety of camps that offer the best there is in outdoor adventure, exploration, and fun in the pool.

Aqua Sports Camp ($245)
This camp has it all including swimming, diving, trampoline, water games, soccer, kickball, crafts and more! Camp is separated into two age groups (ages 7-11 and ages 12-15) but all kids should be able to swim 25 yards and must be comfortable in water that exceeds their height. Be sure to wear comfortable shorts, T-shirt, and tennis or athletic-type shoes. Campers should bring a non-perishable lunch, extra pair of athletic socks, swim suit, towel, cap, goggles, and sunscreen. A $15 material fee is due at the beginning of each session, payable to Tober Aqua Sports, Inc. Extended Care is provided by the camp for morning and/or afternoon for participants only. Valley Mill Adventure Sports and Water
Calling all outdoor adventurers ages 6-14! Join us for a week of canoeing, kayaking, swimming, rock climbing, archery, air rifle, gymnastics, and more! The Valley Mill facility has two pools, a 2-acre lake, climbing walls, archery ranges, and more. Campers are divided by age and gender. Transportation is available to a limited area. Please call the Camp 301-948-0220 to verify your pick up point.

Camp Explorer
Campers ages 9-13 will gain a new appreciation for the outdoors and nature as they participate in activities including creek walks, plant identification and removal of invasive plant species projects. Campers will also enjoy creating crafts using recyclable materials, learning survival skills, orienteering, and animal tracking. The first 3 sessions will include a weekly field trip. Campers will go canoeing once per week. Campers will swim at a lake or an MCR pool once per week. Afternoon extended camp is available for Explorer campers for an additional fee.

Camp Seneca Creek
Open to campers ages 9-13. This camp is based out of Seneca Creek and is packed full with activities including hiking, canoeing, arts and crafts, nature games and more! We will focus our exploring on wilderness skills and nature identification and put our skills to the test with a camping overnight experience (first three sessions only). Campers will swim three days a week at an MCR pool. Each camper must bring a bag lunch. Afternoon Extended Camp is available on site for an additional fee.
