Summer Teen Escapes Provide a Full Week of Awesome!

Escape every day of the week! Your teens will thank you for giving them a full week of fun this summer. They can relax on the beach, seek thrills at Hershey Park and Kings Dominion, cool off at Splash Down or Chesapeake Beach Water Park and so much more!
Meet new people, make new friends, and most importantly, have fun! Sign up for one week or all four. Kids must be 13 by August 31, 2013 and no older than 16 years. Pick up sites or scheduled activities may be subject to change due to circumstances beyond our control.  Contact Carlos Falcon with any questions at 240-777-4937.

Teen Escape hours are
Monday, Wednesday and Friday: 9am -5pm
Tuesday and Thursday: 9am – 8pm

Summer Guides Come out May 3rd and Registration Begins May 13th



It’s time to break out of the winter routine and start something new this summer! Find a new activity for every member of your family with the Montgomery County Recreation Summer Guide – download the guide starting May 3, 2013!

Whether you are interested in a new fitness class to keep you motivated, or swim lessons for the kids so you can take full advantage of your summer pool membership, the Summer Guide can be searched by keyword, or you can browse by topic.

Registration starts May 13 through our online system, RecWeb. Forgot your RecWeb login? Just go to https://recweb.montgomerycountymd.gov/ and click the yellow Login button. There are options to select if you need your password or login information.

Be Active Montgomery! June 8th Kickoff



 


Join us to kick off the Be Active Montgomery! initiative on Saturday, June 8th from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the South Germantown Recreation Park. Admission is free and includes activities for the entire family from kids to seniors! 

Activities include: fitness demonstrations, golf clinics, QuickStart tennis, healthy food vendors, United Way’s Fun, Fly and Fit, Zumba®, martial arts, soccer demos, plus a fitness challenge which will earn you free admission to the mini golf and pool when you are done!

Plus, everyone can take advantage of the Heart Smart Trail with a Senior Walk at 10:00 am, a Family Walk at 11:00 am, and a Family Bike and Trike ride at 1:00 pm.

THE TIME IS NOW FOR CAMP REGISTRATION!!! AFTER MAY 15, WE CANNOT GUARANTEE YOUR CAMP CHOICE WILL BE AVAILABLE.



Payment plans are still available for camp registration. After May 1st, 75% is due and the remaining balance is due June 3rd. Call 240-777-6840 for more information.

Only with the “All Pool” Pass through Montgomery County Recreation Aquatics can you have access to seven outdoor pools and four indoor pools! This is the best value for your hard-earned dollar. Visit a different pool every day of the week.  And the “All Pool” Pass includes indoor swim centers, so you can continue to swim even when summer storms have closed outdoor pools. Summer and year-round memberships are available for individuals, seniors and families.
